How does Sell with Lo work?

Drop off your clothes in Koreatown or book a free pickup anywhere in LA. Lo sorts what's sellable, photographs and prices each piece, and lists across Poshmark, Depop, Instagram, and our local network. When something sells, you get 40% via Venmo or Zelle. We handle every step in between — you don't lift a finger.

What's the commission split?

40% to you, 60% to us. The 60% covers professional photography, pricing research, multi-platform listing, packing, shipping, customer questions, and marketplace fees. There are no listing fees, no photography fees, no upfront costs — you only pay when something sells. Compared to selling yourself on Poshmark or Depop, you trade some margin for getting your time back and reaching more buyers.

Where do you pick up?

Anywhere in Los Angeles proper — Koreatown, West Adams, Mid-City, Larchmont, Hancock Park, Silver Lake, Echo Park, Los Feliz, Mid-Wilshire, and DTLA. Pickup is free for one or more bags of clothes. Beyond LA proper, reach out and we'll see if it works.

What if something doesn't sell?

We'll keep listing and adjusting price for 90 days. If it still hasn't moved, we'll either return it to you or donate it to a local LA charity — your call when we onboard your closet.

Question 5

What do you take?

Accepted Answer

Most clothing in good condition — designer, contemporary, vintage, streetwear, shoes, bags, accessories. Women's and men's. We sort and tell you honestly what's not 'sellable' (heavily worn, fast-fashion past its season, counterfeit, or items that just won't move at consignment prices).

How fast do things sell?

Most pieces sell within 30–60 days. Designer pieces in good condition often go in days. We send you a sales summary monthly so you always know where things stand.

Where is Sell with Lo located?

Accepted Answer

We're based in Koreatown, Los Angeles. We don't have a public storefront — drop-off is by appointment, and pickup is free across LA. This keeps overhead low so we can pay consignors faster and serve more neighborhoods.

How do I get started?

Click 'Sell your closet' at the top of the page — you'll fill out a quick form (name, neighborhood, what you've got, a few photos optional). Lo will reach out within 24 hours to schedule pickup or drop-off.

How am I paid?

Accepted Answer

Venmo or Zelle, your choice. Payouts go out monthly for everything that sold the previous month, with a clear statement listing each piece, the sale price, our 60%, and your 40%.

Do you take men's clothing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Men's, women's, and gender-neutral. Designer, streetwear, vintage denim, sneakers, bags, outerwear — all welcome.

What about kids' clothes?

Accepted Answer

Not at the moment. Kids' clothing sells slowly at consignment and the margins are thin once you factor shipping. We can refer you to a local kids-only consignment shop.

Question 12

Do you take counterfeit / replicas?

Accepted Answer

No. Selling counterfeit goods is illegal and platforms ban accounts that try. If you're not sure whether a piece is authentic, send Lo a photo and we'll let you know.

Can I get my unsold items back?

Accepted Answer

Yes — anytime. After 90 days, we'll either return everything that hasn't sold or donate it to a local LA charity, your call. You can also request a return earlier if you change your mind.

Question 14

How do you price my pieces?

Accepted Answer

Lo researches sold-comps on Poshmark, Depop, and eBay, factors in condition and current trend cycle, and sets a launch price slightly above market. We adjust price downward over time if a piece doesn't move. You can set a 'minimum acceptable' price up front if you have one in mind.

Will you tell me what's not worth selling?

Accepted Answer

Yes — directly. After we look through your bag, you'll get a list of pieces we'd recommend not consigning (too worn, fast fashion past season, items that won't recoup our handling cost). You can take those back, donate them, or have us drop them at a charity.
